Good location

Stayed with colleagues for 1 night. The room was basic with hard floors throughout. Location is good for the city centre and it wasn't too noisy considering the location. The NCP nearby is convenient for parking. The night porter kept the bar open for us.

We have stayed here a few times and have always found the staff friendly and efficient. Cleanliness and bedrooms have always been very good. However, we were a little disappointed with the breakfast this visit as the food items were not very warm and the plates were cold. The taste was good, but would have been nicer had they been hotter.

The bathroom smelt like rotten eggs or like something that I recently died in there receptionist were unwilling to help or change the room we left within a couple of hours and booked somewhere else.

Terrible mattress and cranky floor

The beds are terrible. Had back pain after sleeping the night. The sofa bed was not a bed it was a piece of wood. The staff tried to help but were useless. There was not cot bed either for my child. The hotel said its subject to availability and housekeeping were not on site so cannot help. The floor was cranky. The staff knew the beds were terrible so they tried to help by giving more duvet to put under mattress. There were lack of staff so it took one man a long time to give pillow, duvet and underlay. Approx 12:15am they gave pillows. Couldn’t sleep as staff kept knocking on door. Those beds are not fit for purpose.

Fine, but wouldn’t rush back. Bathroom had damp and a lot of rust. Breakfast was listed as £10, was £12.99 when we arrived and then £15.99 on the second day - none of which was not communicated in advance

Uncomfortable sofa bed

Booked a family room..double bed with a sofa bed. Sofa bed was not made up upon arrival and not enough towels for the whole famoly. Childrens sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable..like sleeping on multiple metal bars.
