Close proximity to the motorway network and plenty of facilities / shopping nearby. Complimentary EV charging was really helpful. On the negative side, dirty towels, lack of shower gel, bath that didn't drain when using the shower and dreadful food were really disappointing. More disappointing is the lack of hotel manager interest in the above reported by Expedia.

It was good overall as we always choose it to other hotels. This time the amenities like the run-out hair conditioners and other amenities is missing has disappointed me somehow but overall it was a pleasant stay

Time is not of the essence here. Our check in took ages with one member of staff really taking her time to check people in. There’s no value for guests time. If you need to call reception they simply don’t pick up and there’s always a queue. The whole hotel is dated dusty and the rooms were not clean. Bathrooms are stuffy with other guests toothpaste marks on the sink. Things like marks on the tea cups no water in the room etc really lets the property down. There are no sockets in the room only usb sockets near the bed which shows the age of the hotel. Breakfast was substandard greasy food aired breads and service was poor. Not at the usual standard of a Marriott and a real shame.

Great location for ease of access to attending a festival. Malik at the Market Kitchen made the morning for breakfast very enjoyable. He was very friendly and guided my son through the use of the pancake machine whilst I picked my breakfast items.

It started with the second room I reserved (for my sons) not even being on the same floor, much less adjoining - this is not comforting for a family traveling overseas. Check in was super confusing as staff acted as if they had never spoken to an American before. Shower/tub was too narrow and had no "grip" making the entire experience quite dangerous. Neighbors came in and were extremely noisy - felt like there was no soundproofing between rooms.
