The Dairy is one of seventeen holiday cottages at Town Farm, on the edge of the Chilterns. We are a working arable farm, with some sheep over the surrounding hills, we are lucky to have views over to Ivinghoe Beacon on one side, and Aylesbury Vale on the other.

All the cottages each have their own unique charm, and we also run a campsite during the summer months. The `Pick Your Own` opens in June and guests can take a picnic and stock up on fruit and vegetables - this is a five minute drive away. It is only a ten minute drive to Tring Railway Station, shops and facilities, or a ten minute walk to Ivinghoe village, with pub, shop and tea room. London Euston is a 40 minute train ride from Tring Station.

The Dairy is situated on the main courtyard, with an outside sitting area near the front door.

The ground floor comprises an open plan sitting and dining room, with a separate kitchen. The sitting room has comfortable sofas, a flat screen TV and dining table with six chairs.

The kitchen is fully equipped with cooker, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer.

Upstairs there are three bedrooms (one double and 2 single bedrooms) and a family bathroom. The bathroom includes an over bath power shower.

The property has access to a tennis court which is available to hire, games room and a children`s play area. The Dairy is centrally heated by oil. Internet by Wifi is available and included in the rental.

Parking for two cars is available at the front of the property. Up to two pets are welcome in the property, please let us know on booking. Wi-fi is included in the rental.

We request a refundable GBP100 damage deposit for stays of up to 27 days, and one week`s rental for stays of over 28 days. Please see our terms and conditions for further details.

A comfortable place to stay
We enjoyed staying at the Dairy whilst our house was being renovated. Angie & her family made us very welcome. The area is great, and Ivinghoe Beacon is only a half hours walk across the fields. The tea shop in the village sells delicious cakes too.

Good base for a trip to the Chilterns
This is the second cottage we have stayed in at Town Farm while our house was being repaired. It great for a holiday, but in comparison to The Homestead it is a bit tight for a long term location, and not quite so well equipped. That said, Angie and her family are extremely helpful and nothing is too much trouble.

Staying for a few month’s in between house purchase
We have been Staying since November, everything is very clean, location is lovely, also very convenient and We have found all staff and family are always very helpful. Any issues are dealt with immediately ( although we haven’t really had any problems at all). I would definitely recommend this place

Great Place to stay
I had a wonderful stay in The Dairy on Town Farm. Everything from the initial communication through to check-out was very efficient & professional yet friendly & warm too. The cottage was comfortable, spotlessly clean & very well equipped. The location is great too-close enough to nice market towns but totally surrounded by wonderful countryside full of walking trails. Highly recommended.

A brilliant short term stay between house moves
We stayed at Town Farm for a couple of months while we were waiting to move into our new house. The setting was amazing, particularly given the beautiful countryside which surrounds it. Charlie, Angie and the team were friendly and flawless throughout, responding immediately to any issues we had and generally being on hand to help with any queries, even when they were out of normal hours. The kids loved the play area and the table tennis, made all the better by some beautiful summer sunshine to enjoy them in. All in all it was a great stay and certainly saved us a huge logistical headache!
