Das Hotel ist sehr modern eingerichtet und hat einen tollen Wellnessbereich. Die Lage ist nah an der Autobahn. Um etwas vom Ort zu sehen oder etwas zu unternehmen braucht man allerdings ein Auto. Sehr zu empfehlen ist das Outlet Batavia Stad. Das Frühstück ist wie immer im Van der Valk sehr reichhaltig und gut aufgebaut.
