Best Western - accommodation in Lerici

We were very pleased with our choice of hotel. The location is excellent and the town was a beautiful 10 minute stroll from the hotel along a promenade. The staff (all of them - reception, breakfast, bar and cleaning) were all very friendly and helpful. The hotel has a rooftop bar with a great view over the bay at sunset which also serves small plates of food. We had an amazing view from our room - the only slight negative was that the room was slightly small for all our stuff (a 10 day stay) - but the bed itself was large and comfortable. In Lerici itself there are a wide range of restaurants and bars, and ferries available to take you to the Cinque Terre. There is a bus stop next to the hotel and that takes you to La Spezia station if you want to get a train to other places (we went to Portofino). The hotel is situated right opposite a lovely sandy public beach. The water was beautifully clear and the beach was clean. You have several options if you want to pay for sun lounger - our preference were the ones which were to the left as you look out of the hotel. The staff there were friendly and you could get food and drinks from their bars. We had read very good reviews of the hotel, it's staff and location and I'm very pleased to say that it reflected those reviews. If you want to come to the area, we thoroughly recommend the hotel and it's team

Stayed one night as a base for visiting Cinque Terre. Perfect location, 10 min walk to the station. Staff was welcoming and very helpful. Would stay again.

Great location, they do not own a private beach but have an arrangement for a discounted fee for one nearby. Staff exceptional
