A stunning suite-newly constructed @ Preservation Forge-in the heart of downtown Lewes-named 2022's most beautiful city in America-a short walk to the beach, boutiques, restaurants, & cultural destinations of this charming town. With a fully stocked kitchen, spacious dining & lounging area, our cathedral great room is perfect for entertaining. Sleeps 4 w/ 1 King bedroom, 1 pull out Queen sofa bed, a full bath with tiled shower, & washer/dryer, just a few highlights of this 2nd story apartment.

-The Space-
Stepping into our newly renovated stylish suite, you will be awed by the reclaimed wood shiplap cathedral ceiling with original iron trusses, and under your feet, solid wide plank white oak flooring. In the gathering area, you can enjoy the electric fireplace below a solid reclaimed Heart Pine mantel and above that, a large Smart TV. The open layout leads into a large full kitchen offering an 8’ granite-topped island with 4 counter stools, accented by 2 beautiful nautical pendant lights. The kitchen is stocked with all of the amenities you would possibly need. The appliances include, a large side-by-side refrigerator with ice maker, an induction cooktop/range, microwave, a full size dishwasher, and kitchen disposal. In your dining area you can enjoy a solid reclaimed pine dining table, custom made by Old Wood Delaware, which seats 6. You’ll appreciate all of the accent lighting throughout, that enhances the ambiance of the space. Entering the area of the bedroom, you’ll notice details beyond your imagination featuring a stunning fully custom tiled designer bathroom including a floating granite-topped vanity, highlighted by under cabinet lighting and a backlit mirror. The bathroom is stocked with body soap, shampoo/conditioner, and luxury towels. As you enter the bedroom you’ll marvel at the hand inlaid wood starburst custom bed dressed with high-end linens. The room is accented by the reclaimed wood shiplap wall, full mirrored closet doors, and you will also enjoy while relaxing in bed the large smart TV.

The suite offers its own private digital keyless entrance. Included is free on-street parking as well as 1 private parking space. Enjoy your private deck off of the kitchen, including outdoor lighting. In the exterior storage closet you will find a beach cart & chairs to use as a courtesy during your stay.

We couldn’t have asked for more from booking with speedy confirmation and a fabulous welcome pdf. The suite has everything you could need and more. It’s beautifully decorated and spotless with thoughtful touches that make it feel like a home from home. It’s a few steps from the town center with fabulous restaurants and cute shops and the parking spot meant leaving and returning for outings to the State Park and beaches was a breeze. The bed was so comfortable we both slept so well and returned home so rested and refreshed after a lovely weekend away. I highly recommend this property.
