We booked a room with balcony and when we arrived, the hotel told me there were none available. In room TV had a Netflix button, but it wasn’t working and I told the front desk every day twice to check on it for the first 3 days of our stay and then I gave up.

AC in room was anemic resulting in poor night's sleep. Restaurant food was mediocre ; they seemed to be short staffed. There was no room service menu in room. Pool was small and overcrowded.

My go to fav hotel visiting lex area

This hotel is my new favorite when I visit Lexington area. It’s conveniently located but yet it’s tucked away on a beautiful golf course setting. Everything you need is there including socks, shirts coffee - you name it. recently they’re on business. I was able to sit down their beautiful lobby with a cup of coffee and enjoy this peaceful atmosphere. Edifyone.com

My husband and I chose the Marriott based off of the website stating the property was a quiet relaxing environment. To our surprise that was far from the truth! The staff allowed hotel guests to set up Karaoke equipment in the lobby equipped with disco lights that could be heard in our room on the 4th floor. This fit in well with the rest of the environment that reminded us of a dive bar where guest were freely using the lobby areas as a gathering point to continue their late night partying alcohol and all. These individuals paid no attention to small children around with the level of cussing that occurred. The staff did nothing to quiet this or disrupt the gathering even after myself and other guests complained to the assistant GM. There were giant dead cockroaches in the men’s restroom off the lobby. We ended up checking out a day early and losing the cost of the night. We couldn’t take it anymore. I wouldn’t suggest this hotel for a relaxing getaway at all. However, if your looking for a party atmosphere the Marriott is for you!

We discovered that this property sells pool memberships to local residents. We spend two days there and no lounge chairs were open. We mentioned this to management and they apologized, but admitted that of the 150 people at, around, and in the pool, more than half we not hotel guests. Very disappointing!
