The gentleman at the front desk was so very helpful and pleasant. He made a note to call us if we could check in early and he did. The hotel is beautiful. Would definitely stay again.

The room and the area is very nice, but the beds were a bit uncomfortable. We expected a king or double queen (I can't remember). We fit in a queen together so I don't usually care. But the beds felt like they were full size. I don't know. Maybe I have grown bigger in my old age :) . We enjoyed our walk down Main Street and found a great restaurant called Macado's with fantastic sandwiches and very reasonable prices.

We were surprised when we could NOT CONTROL the temperature in our room. It is controlled by the hotel. They did provide us with a space heater and extra blanket. They list they have breakfast , but it was continental and not a hot breakfast. Otherwise the staff, room, location was excellent!

The bed was comfortable. The rugs are old and worn. There are many shelves that have not been cleaned in a long time. There was dust hanging off the top of the moulding above the bathroom door. I found nuts on the floor. The shower was good. The room badly needs a paint job. Person at the desk was pleasant and helpful.

There were several marks on the wall and the bathroom had lots of hair from the previous guests. I luckily brought cleaning products to clean the room myself. We only stayed 2 of the 3 nights due to the noise from elevator and other guests seemed like they were in the room with us. The staff was nice however we would not return due to the noise.

Historic hotel in the center of Lexington with character. Rooms were clean and bed comfortable. Room was definitely lacking electrical receptacles and no mini fridge but otherwise quite nice. Lots of dining options nearby.
