This cosy single-storey cottage is a perfect setting for a romantic escape for two. Sun Hill Palins is well located outside of Leyburn on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales, the cottage is part of Sun Hill Farm.

In a charming setting, the inside features the original stone which is exposed in areas and an open-plan living and kitchen area with a log burner. Settle into the sofa together in front of a film, or in the warmer months after a day's exploring, sit in the garden (just a short stroll along the drive) and watch horses train from Sun Hill Racing stables. Very comfortable, but our impression was it was more suitable for a couple of days than a week. It is quiet, interesting with the racehorses working around you, and close to easy walks.
