The room is badly in need of renovation. Wardrobe door was hanging off as were some of the curtains which were a bit dirty. The carpet was very grotty. Altogether not a pleasant room to stay in. However, it appeared clean, the bed was comfortable and the shower was clean and efficient. The price was a bit much for the condition of the room.

Property was a touch "dated" BUT that is understandable being the original part of town. Staff were very helpful & attentive. Hayley in particular was most helpful. Rooms were big, bed was a King & very comfortable. Facilities all functioned well. Hot water was excellent. Location to town & LRBC was great. It was clean neat tidy BUT needed updating. Stained pine walls and ceiling, plus the fluro needed changing and the bed lamps didn’t work at all made for a very dark interior

We stayed here 2 nights. Rooms very tired, in need of renovation on all levels. Bed was comfortable. All rooms had glass doors as entrance doors which ment you had to have the curtains across the doorway for any privacy. Showers were all small and open to the bathroom so water flooded the floor. We had an unfortunate event while here. They need more security on the site, plus a contact for emergencies. No one contactable out of hours. All entrance doors need to be changed to solid doors. Would not stay again.

We found the staff extremely helpful, our room was extremely comfortable and clean. The hotel staff were friendly and made us feel at home. We will be revisiting Lightning Ridge and will hopefully be able to stay at your resort again. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable.
