Staff were super friendly and helpful. Right next to the famous Hamura Saimin. I had a good experience for the price. A few things that could improve would be starting coffee service at 6am rather than 8am. And the window unit AC’s are so noisy and inefficient, I think you will be better off in the long run to install newer split units. I bet one would cool down the entire 2bdrm no problem.

Close to airport - hooray! Close to Hamura Saimin restaurant - yum! Great coffee in the lobby (thanks!), but real milk or half 'n' half would be a vast improvement over that yucky fake cream powder. It's not the Hilton, but you get every bit that you pay for. We are already repeat customers, and would stay here again. Mahalo!

Location was great, restaurants and bar within walking distance. Rene at the front desk was very welcoming upon arriving early and our room was ready! But, had an issue with the towels, it left lint all over by body when drying myself after showing. Had to shower again and used the "beach towels" they provided which was a different micro-fabric. Note to management: Please have the maintenance/garden park his grey truck somewhere else. He would block the staircase going onto Kalena street every morning making it difficult for us to get to our vehicle. Room was very small, but you get what you pay for, clean and well kept overall. Would return!

We are not resort type people, so this little older style hotel was just our speed and offered what we needed for the night. Staff was friendly and helpful, room was adequate and it had the old Hawaii vibe. If you are looking for a 5 star resort, this is not it.

Affordable Hotel

I opted for a mini studio, and it was upstairs (so would not recommend if you have to lug your suitcases up and down the stairs). Overall it was lovely. Affordable for a solo trip.

It was close to the airport which was convenient for our late night flight. We were just staying for 1 night until our condo was ready. Room was clean and comfortable but very small probably as we had a lot of luggage. Rooms did not have coffee makers which left a lot coffee zombies walking around the common area in the morning looking for coffee. Also could not find the ice maker and there was no staff on site until 8am

Close to airport and easy late night entry after flying in at Lihue. My only feedback is that the TV didn't work. Hotel was clean and air conditioning was an extra bonus. Comfy bed.
