We absolutely loved this property! It was not only beautiful but also incredibly refreshing—such a perfect place to relax and unwind. The location was ideal, making it super easy to get around. The staff went above and beyond—so friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. We were especially touched by the thoughtful little perks they provided for our 30th anniversary—it truly made our stay feel extra special. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

We were here to celebrate our 15th anniversary and this place did not disappoint! Everything from the moment we checked in went very smoothly. The staff was wonderful. Our pool view room was very comfortable and conveniently located. We look forward to staying here again.

We had a wonderful stay at the Sonesta in Lihue. We were particularly impressed by the pool and garden. The staff were very welcoming and the room exceeded our expectations.

The property was beautiful and I enjoyed my stay except they only have housekeeping every other day. There were 4 in one room. The hotel was accommodating we needed new sheets and they changed sheets on a day we didn’t have housekeeping. I enjoyed my stay will be coming back. I would say they should extended their pool hours to 10:30 pm vs 10 pm We would come in late and not be able to enjoy the hot tub for too long but we absolutly loved this property. Vallet was great they helped us often and even shuttled us back to the hotel when our flight got delayed 4.5/5.0 stars.

Had a fabulous experience. It's beautiful, in a great location (close to Lihue Airport), but most importantly, the staff was awesome. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and seemed to genuinely enjoy being there. Would definitely stay there again.

We had a fantastic experience staying at The Royal Sonesta Resort in Kauai. The resort was beautiful and well-maintained, with everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. The restaurants on-site were excellent—great variety and quality, and the service was consistently friendly. The pool area was a highlight—spacious, clean, and perfect for lounging. The beach was lovely and easy to access, and the location of the resort made it really convenient to explore the rest of the island. One of the standout parts of our stay was how accommodating the staff were—especially with our late check-out request. We had a 9 PM flight and they went out of their way to help us enjoy our last day stress-free. Highly recommend this resort if you're looking for a mix of comfort, convenience, and great service on Kauai!

The trip was amazing the hotrl location amazing and the amenities also amazing the only thing I would want different was the bed it was a king size but it was so low to the bed and it squeaked when you would move around on it. Maybe upgrade those
