Beautiful grounds. Our kids loved the pool and proximity to the beach. Service was also very good and all the staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms are little tired and onsite food options were expensive for the quality of food, but that goes with the territory when staying at a resort. Overall, we would definitely return.

The room was very nice and clean. Loved the huge full sized closet and robes. We had an amazing view in Ocean preferred. The pool was never full and one could easily get a pool side lounge chair. The food was good. The grounds were lovely and there's a nice walk to the light house. The beach was very nice and the waves were small so one could easily swim. The resort is huge and had a really festive Christmas vibe.

This hotel was fantastic. Our view was beautiful and the staff was super helpful and accommodating. Beds were very comfortable and parking was easy. Lots of amazing restaurants on the grounds. We definitely stay again.

They add $45/day “resort fee” for useless things and another $30/day for a public parking lot. Kind of cheesy and should be made clear st time of reservation.

The resort is beautiful and in a great location for the beach or walking around. The room was comfortable, clean, and well maintained. The staff were all very kind and helpful! The key cards were bracelets which was so helpful for swimming and adventuring. I would recommend a room with an ocean view as the pool view is incredibly loud from dawn until after dark. And definitely plan on walking or driving a ways if youre not spending an arm and a leg for food/water.

Bed and sofabed were uncomfortable. Didn’t a wink of sleep. We had the first floor and were a so close to the kiddie pool and slide. Watched them from out room!!

Everything was okay but could’ve been better with just simple communications posted in the room (WiFi password was different than the system asked for). Check-in did take way longer than expected. Seems like that could be a little more customer on vacation friendly. I now have to call them to finalize payment bc the two cards I gave at check-in couldn’t be used though the one charge went through perfectly fine.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Royal Sonesta. The staff was so warm and kind and our room was so quiet with a beautiful view! We booked the ocean view room and it was lovely!!! We will definitely consider staying here when we come back to Kauai.

The staff was helpful and courteous. The rooms was very nice. The grounds and amenities like the pool were outstanding. The location is perfect with easy walking to stores and beach. We loved the salad bar at Dukes. We would stay again. Only downside is everything is expensive, but that's Hawaii.
