Nice hotel close to trains and shopping

Pros: Our room was large, with plenty of space for our suitcases without having to squeeze past beds and through doors. Everyone at reception was helpful.
Cons: The bathroom was older and staring to show its age, but still functional.
Location: Close to a large new shopping mall, Gard de Lille Europe and Lille Flandres train stations, and right in the center of town with heaps of restaurants.
The hotel was in an older building, and has been recently taken over by new owners, and appeared to be in the process of minor renovations during our stay (that did not affect our experience). The lady at reception helped to direct us to a souvenir shop and provided us with a map of Lille - there was also a number of other brouchers in the lobby for tours and attractions. The size of the room was much bigger than most typical French hotels.
