Apartment was ok, the 2nd bedroom was squeezed between 2 walls. The elevator works only sometimes and is very slow. There is no laundry abilities. The hot water lasts for 1 minute and it’s very cold, no heater and took 2 days to get blankets

The property was quite different from what was promised in the pictures. The apartment was worn down, our kids were not allowed to use the pool, we did not get enough towels for the family of 5, the elevator broke down several times. The location was amazing though. Right in the center of Barranco - our favorite neighborhood in Lima (we also visited Miraflores, San Isidro and the Historic center). The dining was great, wall paintings so beatiful, many small shops hiden away from the main street etc. Barranco is worth 2-3 days of exploration.

Noisy

The noise outside this building is horrible . Windows are not sound proof. Construction plus non stop traffic and car honking non stop. Could not get a good night sleep. Please spend a little more money and get something quiet in Miraflores. No communication whatsoever ! Had a hard time checking in . Front desk people don’t speak English at all. They had to call someone to check in and they gave me a hard time too. Could not leave my bags downstairs after my check out . Again no reply when I asked for a late check out . I stayed in room 305 ( room was clean and newer) my friend stayed in the same building floor 14. Broken laminate, grease on the kitchen walls . Just stay away from this building.

Our unit was close to elevator. Security cameras monitor the building. Apartment was comfortable and as stated by description with a full kitchen with utensils. Electronic locks was a nice touch. The swimming area was small. We couldn't enjoy it as it was cold for 80 degrees. We never saw temperature controls or vents in our room, but luckily the weather was comfortable w/without the windows. There was also no in-room safe. Once windows open, it was very loud where you can't hear the TV unless on full blast. This was on the 3rd floor. There is also one TV in the living room area. So we had to share even when we wanted to watch different things. We didn't know where to leave trash or ask for fresh towels. Security works for the building and spoke no English. We were told this is not a hotel and to call our travel agent. Near the end of the stay, I saw messages the property was communicating with me but by that time it was near the end of our stay. So learn more Spanish, check your messages, and pack extra towels.
