Disliked: Staff & service, amenities
**Pros:**
* Central location.
**Cons:**
The hotel felt poorly managed and did not meet the standards I would expect from a 3-star property.
* Reception was often unattended. On arrival, all the lights at reception were off, which created an unwelcoming and uncomfortable first impression.
* No elevator despite being a five-story building.
* No air conditioning, only a very noisy fan.
* Broken shower.
* Booked a triple room but was given a double room.
* Bedsheets had an unpleasant odor.
The biggest issue, however, was the owner/management. Most concerns were met with indifference or rudeness rather than a genuine effort to help. We were traveling with a child with autism and received very little understanding or accommodation, which was particularly disappointing.
We only stayed because it was late at night and finding alternative accommodation was not practical.
To be fair, the owner's attitude improved somewhat the following morning. However, first impressions matter, and unfortunately the initial experience overshadowed the rest of our stay.
