Checkin was good. The front desk clerk, Mike, was pleasant. Our room was on the second floor, so took the elevator up. As soon as the door open we were 'hit' with an overwhelming odor of that skunk smelling marijuana. It filled the entire hallway as if somebody was smoking it in their room. Our room was fine and didn't have the odor. We advised Mike, who suggested perhaps it was a guest that just came in from the outside after smoking. I argued if that was the case, the lobby and certainly the elevator would have had the odor, but they didn't. As strong as the odor was and filled up and down the hallway, it had to be someone smoking it in a room. Mike said he would check it out. When we returned to the hotel later that night, the odor had dissipated somewhat, but was still faintly in the hallway.
