I had a very disappointing stay at this property, particularly regarding cleanliness and guest safety. The first room we were given was not clean, which required us to return to the front desk and request a different room. The second room was even more concerning. Multiple adjacent rooms were actively smoking cigarettes, and the smoke odor was overwhelming and pervasive. We were traveling with a baby, and the exposure to secondhand smoke was completely unacceptable and deeply concerning from a health and safety standpoint. It made the room unusable and raised serious questions about enforcement of the hotel’s non-smoking policy. The third room we were finally moved to was free of smoke, but it was very old and outdated and clearly in need of renovation. While it was technically usable, it did not meet reasonable expectations for comfort or quality. Overall, the lack of cleanliness, poor room conditions, and disregard for guest safety—especially for families with young children—made this a frustrating experience. I would not recommend this hotel and would be very hesitant to stay here again.

Room was not cleaned from floor not being swept and wrappers on the floor. Three rooms, all dirty. But even worse- cockroaches. And when brought to the attention of front staff they admitted they knew of them and although owner is trying to rerenovate, not paying for extermination. Was told we would get a refund, and then tried to kick us out. Tried to make ammends by offering us a free soda. We stayed here a few years ago and it was great, I guess I gave too much trust it would be the same.

It’s Motel 6

Keep in mind that this is an economy hotel. The room was clean, comfortable everything worked. Getting to the room was moderately disconcerting. The lobby hallways and other amenities were a little bit sketchy, outdated, in disrepair. The walls and floors and ceilings are very thin. I expected more from an airport hotel, and maybe it was just because it was a cornhuskers football weekend that the clientele was very noisy. There were barking dogs , people arguing very loudly and on my second morning I was awakened by a guy who somehow had locked himself out on his balcony screaming help me at 5 o’clock in the morning! The front desk people were very kind, helpful, friendly and knowledgeable about stuff around. Another nice thing about staying there for football is that there’s a car service that will take you from the hotel to memorial Stadium for a very reasonable price.. There aren’t any great breakfast places close by so you’ll have to go find something in the morning.

The two staff members we interacted with were gems! Great service! That being said, property left much to be desired. The first room we were given was partially services by the cleaning crew. It had no linens and had not been cleaned. The staff member was very apologetic and she was great to deal with! The second room was acceptable, but we only had two small pillows for the bed. There was a barking dog next door, but that was intermittent. The bathroom needed to be cleaned better and the bathtub backed up. There is potential here, but some things need work. I got the sense that they are working it.
