Charming hotel, beautifully maintained

Cons: A very minor thing - and common to many guest houses in England - check in isn't until 4:00pm.
Don't let the external appearance fool you, this is a charming hotel with lovely rooms. It has a very pleasant dining room and lounge fo guests and the live-in housekeeper was excellent. Because it is on the opposite side of Lincoln to the castle/cathedral it is very reasonably priced.
