Accommodation In Liposthey

Thinking of escaping the rat race and heading to Landes? Luckily, you'll find a selection of quality hotel options nearby.

There are a handful of hotels within an easy walk from the centre of Liposthey. The Chambres d'hôtes L'Airial is an ideal choice as it is only 3 kilometres away.

18 kilometres away from the centre of Liposthey is the Les Cottages du Lac. Alternatively, the L'Ecureuil is 25 kilometres away. Two other places to stay include the Le Grand Gousier and the Auberge des Pins.

Don't be a flamin' galah by missing out on the other great things to do and places to explore in Aquitaine. If you're a nature lover, you won't want to miss Aquitaine's beaches. If nature's not your thing, head to some of the region's castles. Common pastimes in this particular part of France include snowboarding, skiing and cross-country skiing.

It is well known that we Kiwis are pretty laid back, so consider extending your stay and check out the Mimizan Public Gardens, Woolsack Chateau and Mimizan Botanical Gardens, in Mimizan, 30 kilometres to the southwest of Liposthey. Should you wish to spend a few nights in Mimizan, be sure to check out the Mermoz and Emeraude des Bois. 55 kilometres to the southeast of Liposthey, you'll also find Mont-de-Marsan, which is home to the Hexagone and Citotel Richelieu. The Parc Jean Rameau, Arenas de Plumacon and Despiau Wlerick Museum are popular sites to check out when you're in Mont-de-Marsan.

Visitors arriving or departing through Merignac Airport may plan to book a bed at the Château Pape Clément or the Appart'City Bordeaux Mérignac, which are both conveniently located nearby.

Check-in was a little confusing, we arrived at 19:30 so reception was closed, i didn't receive an email with the details i needed so had to call the number to get the code for the key box. The place is nice, but there's not much around that doesn't close early, so make sure you have supplies if arriving late or you'll be getting a pizza from the vending machine...We did, wasn't actually bad! The room could have been cleaner, bathroom was dusty. The balcony needed a good clean. Kitchenette was clean but that's because you have to make sure it's spotless before you leave. Wasn't expecting two single beds (sure we told them a double) and really wasn't expecting to make the beds too. You also need to strip them before you leave. You need to empty all the bins too, and put them in the big bin in the carpark. Pool area, very nice, very clean. Perfect for relaxing. General area. Plenty of parking, we were on a motorbike and had no issues with anything. On site they have 3 washing machines and 1 dryer, payable by card. The washing machines already have powder in. 2 washers and 1 dryer was out of service during our stay. If you walk to the bottom of the road, turn left and walk for about 15 minutes you get to a water sports centre, you can also get food and drink there. If you drive to the bottom of the road and turn right for 15 minutes you can find supermarkets, petrol stations, restaurants and shops. Overall we had a lovely stay, we'd go back, just a little more prepared
