Make sure you secure your valuables in your room. Its hard to give a positive review when an expensive gold broach goes missing from the room. I had just purchased it for my wifes birthday. The front desk did apologize but could do nothing. They claimed noone was in my room for turn down service but things were clearly moved. The carry on suitcase I had against a wall had been turned around and a robe was also missing. This ruined what was otherwise a good stay.

This hotel is one of the best, most accommodating, and friendliest hotels I’ve ever stayed in. It’s also incredibly beautiful, classy, chic, and clean. We were so pleased with the welcoming staff and everything we experienced at the hotel. The room is spacious and provides everything you need. Even Le Labo amenities, blow dryer, iron and board, and even did turn down service each night. I can’t compliment the staff enough. They did a fantastic job making us feel welcome and like family. Everyone was so kind and helpful. The spa was top notch and we really enjoyed our massages and facials. I am still glowing. The gym is perfect and so is the sensory shower, sauna and other wellness amenities. The restaurant and bar was delicious snd extremely high quality. We were so so happy with our stay and were sad to leave. Thanks to everyone who went above and beyond for us.

Fantastic location for excellent dining and shopping in Lisbon. The rooftop cannot be beat for the view! We enjoyed breakfast and drinks on the rooftop every day. It is such a lovely view and the staff was truly wonderful.

We booked this hotel for only one night but I could've stayed forever! The property is beautiful, the check in team we dealt with were fantastic, welcoming and made every effort to get us in early. Which they did. Our rooms were gorgeous, clean, well styled, amazing. And there is an onsite bakery/coffee which is incredible. Up a few stairs from the bakery is a wonderful lounge where you can enjoy your treat, bring a laptop and work or just hang out. We ate dinner at Bahr which is the restaurant on the 5th floor and let me tell you, it knocked us all for a loop. We lucked out and were seated directly in front of the kitchen and watched with expert choreography the team deliver the most modern, delicious takes on Portuguese food. The chicken piri piri nuggets, we could have eaten 100 of them. Yes we ordered several of them! Then as the evening was about to end the chef came by to check in, so classy. 24 hours at this hotel and I'm obsessed - thank you for a wonderful time in Lisbon, will be back for sure!!

Bairro Alto Hotel is centrally located with convenient access to many of the more popular atractions in Lisbon. The neighborhood around the hotel is very walkable and has many good shops and restaurants. What really sets the hotel apart though is the friendly staff. Everyone working at the hotel is pleasent, friendly and helpful. We felt well taken care of. This is our second time staying at the hotel and we can't recommend it highly enough

Bairro Alto Hotel is a truly fine hotel. The staff are highly trained, the facilities are beautifully designed and well maintained, and every detail reflects elegance and care. Its superb location makes it incredibly convenient for exploring the city. The breakfast is thoughtfully prepared—well balanced and of high quality. On a morning when we had to leave early, the hotel even provided us with a breakfast bag, which was a very considerate touch. The staff, including Alex and the concierge team, were all exceptionally friendly and helpful. One detail worth mentioning: we noticed a small issue in our room and reported it to the front desk. To our surprise, Tatiana, the Guest Relations Manager, personally reached out to us and kindly offered a complimentary upgrade to a beautiful room. We truly appreciated this gesture—it showed how much the hotel values its guests and is committed to ensuring a perfect stay. This thoughtful response speaks volumes about the hotel’s service philosophy.
