The location was perfect for walking distance to everything we were looking for. Parking and driving was a bit challenging but worth it.

The town is very old with narrow streets and is restricted to residents or people renting there. You are given a code to allow your car in, but for some reason, you can use it only once. We missed a turn causing us to leave the restricted area, then couldn't get back in. We had to call for help. They also require you to use WhatsApp which we weren't used to. On the last day we were to check out, we left the apartment to check on something and their code box locked us out. They had set our departure time for 1 AM instead of 11 AM. So, we had to call again to get back into the apartment. It was 9 AM and no one answered the phone. They need to come up with a better system.

We had a beautiful, spacious room with a little kitchen and a wonderful view that we really enjoyed. Communications were perfect and the baggage storage for early arrival was greatly appreciated.

Unusual but superb place to stay - just slightly off the beaten track - but extremely close to the tourist Mecca that is the Historic center of Sintra. We had a minor glitch on the automatic check-in (accessing the needed codes) - but a phone call to the provided number saw it resolved very quickly and efficiently. We were very impressed.

The location is very good. It’s close to Vila Sassetti, from where you could walk up to Pena Palace and Moorish Castle. Fabrica da Nata has best tarts I have ever had in Portugal. The casa/hotel is equipped with all essential items. Check-in is automatous and was very easy for me. Would definitely stay again!

The property is clean, and nicely finished. The location is central, and you can walk to a variety of restaurants, and shops, as well as many of the sites. The downfall lies in the immediate communication with the staff on hand. Having to ask for check in information on the morning of, as well as the facilities not supplying sufficient cleaning agents for the washing ammenities was a big problem ( and not communicating until the next day was unacceptable). Washing my underwear and socks in the sink with hand soap, and then blow drying them for 1/2 hour isnt my idea of a good time. Otherwise, the facility was nice over all.

The apartment was easy to find and check in was easy. Nice to be able to put our luggage in lockers before checking in time. Apartment was clean and comfortable. Bed was really comfortable. Plenty of hot water. Coffee machine in reception a nice welcome touch. Would book again. Sintra is beautiful and right on the doorstep.

Great place except for the power outage

The hotel has great location. It is 1-2 minute walk from the palace of sintra. The beds, sheets and towels were very fine. Decor was beautiful considering it was retrofitted from a very old building. However there were several issues during our stay. Communication regarding how to locate the place was confusing. It would have been better if they told you to start at palace of sintra and walk 1-2 minutes down the hill towards the only Tandoori restaurant. It was just past this restaurant. The QR code to open gate to city centre did not work. I felt bad for our uber driver. The power went out at 10pm, on a very cold night. They could not restore electricity (there is no one at property). They did offer to relocate us. However we would have had to repack everything, wake up the children and locate another property in the dark. Due to the power outage the fire alarm in our room kept blinking and I was unable to sleep. I wish they had staff at the property. They are quick to respond to messages. Overall it was a bad stay mainly due to the power outage (the properties surrounding had power). I am not sure if the they can mitigate this due to the age of this village and property or with a backup generator.

Advertised that parking was available. Failed to disclose that the apartment was in a limited access district and that the parking was on the other side of town. Also, they did not send acess codes on a timely basis causing a delay in our departure from Lisbon and forced us to download a third party messaging app. This is an absentee management company in Singapore. Spoiled visit.

Very nice stay in a two bedroom apartment on the bottom floor of the hotel. Staff were very communicative and nice and we had no trouble getting our access to the hotel and rooms set up before we arrived. Free luggage storage was super nice. Room itself is a little older but quite comfortable. They do a very thorough job cleaning before you arrive. There was a fridge, stove, espresso machine, hot water boiler, microwave, and dishwasher. Bathrooms were nice and spacious too, with water that got warm/hot fairlt quickly and consistently. Free use of the in-room and community washers and dryers was super nice. Location wise it's walkable from the main shopping area in Sintra and across the street from the National Palace of Sintra, and 15 minute fast walk from the Quinta de Regaleira. It is down a hill so be aware of that if you have trouble walking. We really enjoyed our stay here and would not hesitate to book here again if we returned to Sintra. (pS the Indian restaurant next door is SOLID! Highly recommend.)

This seems a residential rental, not a hotel. We arrived late and they said OK, but it was from another office's response. When arriving 8pm, door was closed and nobody in service. Call another line, took a long time to find my reservation. They don't have frontdesk, everything online, everything self serviced, but they did not email clearly upfront. Avoid this hotel for the trouble
