First time staying in a hostel and it was a great experience! The place is super clean and the staff are really friendly. It’s right beside the metro, which made it super easy to get around — and it’s even on the same line as the airport, which was super convenient. Breakfast was okay, not a huge variety but honestly better than nothing. Our room was really spacious and even had a balcony, which was a nice surprise. We were a bit skeptical about the shared bathrooms at first, but they were always very clean and well-maintained by the staff. Overall, we were really happy with our stay. Compared to hotel prices, this place is an absolute bargain. Would definitely stay here again!

The staffs were friendly/informative; the place is located next to bus/metro station, giving easy access to public transits system, although it could be noisy sometimes. The room was very well maintained/comfort and spacy.

Really cute and friendly place outside of the city center. I would definitely come again. My room was on the first floor which made me feel unsafe leaving the windows open. I didn't think to ask for a fan but I'm sure if they had one they would have offered it.

We loved our stay here, this was our first time in Lisbon and we were really happy with this guesthouse. The location is amazing, we walked everywhere. Breakfast was so good, especially the coffee. Our room was very clean and smelled like fresh laundry. The staff were also very nice and helpful, offered us a map and to keep our luggage. Would highly recommend!

Great spot with easy access to the metro just in front. Rooms are nice, but bathrooms are shared. Staff was really sweet and helpful! It’s a bit noisy on the main road with the intersection but otherwise totally recommend.

Chalet D’Avila is a gem- absolutely gorgeous with incredible staff, responsive and elegant. Loads of shopping and restaurants in area, Metro directly across the avenue, wonderful street vendors/ fair this past weekend. Excellent information from managers re: navigating city. Highly recommend this beautiful place!❤️

The location of this place was great, and the transportation is just around the corner. The staff is pretty friendly and helpful. My flight was delayed, but I was able to leave my luggage there for a couple of extra hours so I could take one last tour of the city. (: And I absolutely loved their breakfast! Now that I’m back home, I really miss it every day. They had everything you could possibly need, all ready and waiting for you as soon as you woke up.

The only thing I did not care much for was the separate bathroom facilities that would get too busy in the morning and in the evening. But I adjusted and the staff was great. I will go back next time. I’m in Lisboa.
