The hotel is very close to a bus stop but about a 20 minute walk to a metro station. Very close to a shopping centre and has a full kitchen for prepping food if you want to eat at home. The fridge smelt very strongly of vinegar. The room I was in was all I needed size-wise, but had patches on the walls, and no window. I also found hair that was not mine on the sheets although I would say generally the property was clean. There was a fan in the room but it was quite warm in early October so that would be something to be mindful of if staying at a hotter time of year.

Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful stay, Emília was fantastic. Our beds were clean and comfy. The location is good. We walked into downtown takes about 1 hour.

Very good!

The guest house is well located with easy access to bus and metro services. There are a few good restaurants nearby as well. Both the room and the shared bathrooms were clean. Overall we had a great time at Guest House Amoreiras.

Emilia was terrifically responsive, kind and helpful. The neighborhood is both traditional and in renovation (check and see if construction might be underway nearby) with close access to grocery, cafes and transport. Walk to Lisbon Miradouro, EVII park and Marques de Pombal.

Bus stop 2 mins away, metro 15 mins away but it would be walking uphill. A big shopping mall Amoreiras Shopping mall very close by, 5 mins walk only . Guest house is located on first floor, it’s ok even no lift . The host Emilia was excellent. She made you feel like home. I stayed one night in room no.4. There is a small window facing the corridor , so when the lights in the corridor were on, the whole room would be bright and a bit noisy when people passing by . But the room was comfortable. Also, have two bathrooms to share in the guest house which was good. Some local restaurants around or a big food court in the shopping centre. I think it’s worth for money though location is not the best.

Great stay!

Great stay! Perfect for what you need. Comfortable bed and room. Shared bathroom was fine. About a 15 minutes walk to yellow line subway which connects to all other lines. Close to shopping mall and bus stops.
