I was very pleased when they provided a walk-in shower which happened to be a larger room as well when we requested one. However, some of the power sockets weren’t working and they were difficult to get to as they were under the night stand. Also, the TV remote had to be pointed directly in front of the cable box to change channels and not possible to operate easily from the bed.

Our daughter was traveling with us. We had room 901. She had 801. The noise from hotel staff next door kept her up both nights of our stay. She said people were yelling and dishes were banging. She might have been next to a service elevator. She didnt tell me this until after we had checked out and were on the ship.Our experience with the room, dining and staff was good. This was frustrating.

Impressive Looking Hotel

This hotel is centrally located in Lisbon and looks regal from approach. Staff were friendly, the room was in good shape and a decent value for the money. The rooms could use more outlets, but it sounds like renovations are beginning this month. Our room had a great view of the castle! The rooftop bar is best for drinks rather than food, but had great views of the city. The veranda restaurant was fantastic in both view and food, although somewhat expensive. As mentioned in other reviews, there is one border of the hotel that looks a little sketchy, so just enter and exit from one of the 3 other locations.

Good location.

Sweet staff. Clean place with a good view if your room.faces the front of the hotel. The neighborhood seems a bit rough. there was a lot of yelling and homeless people fighting til like 3-4 in the morning every day. But the back side of the hotel is towards the touristy area and is quieter. overall good location for tourism.

Good location and great staff

We were greeted by very helpful and friendly staff and was amazed by the decor in the lobby and bar areas. However, the room didn’t match the lobby. The room was spacious and had a nice greeting card with a small bottle of port to share (which was very nice). There was a nice selection of food for breakfast and was always greeted by friendly staff. But again the decor was a little dated
