Offered upgrade after my review, power outage not their issue but all the hallways were black, no help from staff, even closed the bar. So town had no food nor drinks neither did the hotel. No one was thinking of the patrons of the hotel. Especially those who were disabled. Will never stay again.

Large room, comfortable bed. powerful shower, very clean. The reception staff were extremely helpful providing a map and routes to take in the sights. The hotel location is ideal for walking to lots of tourist attractions, shopping and there is a great choice restaurants close by. Short downhill walk to Cais de Sodre station where you can get the train along the coast to Cascais. Breakfast at the hotel was of a great quality and lots of choice. I would definitely stay there again.

Unfortunately we did not get a room upgrade. Also the rooms we stayed at didn’t have the AC working and while we informed the property management, no one came to fix it. They told us to use the fans. Also, there were some stains on the pillow case and a lot of bugs in one of our rooms. Very overpriced

Great location in central Lisbon

I really enjoyed the stay. Clean, friendly and helpful. Room a little dark but good for sleeping. Well located for everything you want to do in Lisbon. Lisbon is mad with tourists these days and all things that flow on from that. Several people we met did not have the pleasant experience we had being in this location and at this hotel. Heaps of good restaurants/bars in the area as well as at the hotel. I would definitely stay again.

Well appointed charming hotel in a very convenient location. All the main sites are within a 10 minute scenic walk. It was nice that everything is accessible, but without the noise and busy crowds. Breakfast was good with a lot of variety. I enjoyed my stay and would come back!

Very nice hotel with a great location. Staff were very friendly. The breakfast buffet was good with a decent variety of foods. The only issue I had was the air conditioning did not work well in the room. We did not push the issue since it is March and the room cooled if we opened the balcony door. We did let staff know. Hopefully had it been the heat of summer they would have fixed it.

Pleasant stay!

Great location for tourists. Few minutes walk to train station or Rossio plaza. Very friendly staff. Comfortable bed and coffee maker in the room. Also, there is a real treat on Wednesday nights- performance of traditional fado singer at the restaurant, as well as a delicious dinner. Just one suggestion- it would be nice to have a safety bar on the wall to hold when you get in and out the bathtub.

My son and I chose this property for our first 2 nites in Lisbon and could not be happier. The hotel is located in the heart of old town Lisbon, right by the Museum of the Republican National Guard and the Museum of Archeology of Carmo. The check in process was quick and smooth. The hotel receptionist/ concierge Leonardo was very pleasant and accommodating. He showed us a map of the area and pointed out the must see attractions. He also recommended top restaurants in the are, per our request. The breakfast was delicious and featured plenty of choices! Never realized how delicious Portuguese bread and pastries are! Yum! The room was very spacious, clean and elegantly decorated. It had all necessary amenities, safe included. The hotel was able to accommodate my reservation requests. If you love bookstores, the oldest operating bookstore on the planet, Livraria Bertrand, is a mere 5 minute walk away. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby and close to all city center attractions. Will definitely stay at this property in the future!
