Welcome to the Homestead on Weber Road! A quaint little attached Cape Cod nestled atop a hill near Speedwell Forge Lake is perfect for the family, a girlfriend trip, or a couples only weekend trip to beautiful Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Relax in a heated sunroom located at the back of the property overlooking a wooded backyard and large meadow beyond where you will frequently see deer, red fox, and a large variety of wild birds. Sunroom also contains a large, flat screen TV and wrap around sofa with a queen pull-out sofa bed. Cozy family room provides guests another flat screen TV and DVD. A well-equipped, recently renovated eat-in kitchen with a large kitchen table and island that makes everyone feel welcome. Master bedroom suite with a king bed is located off the kitchen on the first floor. Full bathroom adjacent to the master bedroom with all main floor doorways and bathroom being ADA compliant. Laundry Room is also on the first floor for ease of doing a quick load of wash. There are two bedrooms upstairs. One contains a queen bed and the other has a full daybed with a twin pull-out trundle which is perfect for the kids or teens. Another full bathroom is located between the two upstairs bedrooms. Parking for up to six vehicles in driveway. House has free Wi-Fi and satellite TV in the Family Room, Master Bedroom and Sunroom; Smart TVs are in the upstairs bedrooms. Towels and Bed Linens are provided.

WOW! Just wow!

We chose this location so my daughter and son in law could attend a wedding at the Elizabeth Furnace and not be far from their newborn. It was just 5 minutes away! Upon arriving we were just blown away with the beauty of the home (more like an estate!!). We were able to settle in nicely and enjoy the local treats the host left for us. We spent part of our time shopping for bargains at Green Dragon Market and New Holland to visit Shady Maple. The hostā€™s amenitiesā€”laundry soap, toiletries, family friendly games- were just icing on the cake! It was SUPER quiet and we loved seeing the wildlife and animals on the property. My granddaughter loved seeing the chickens. We are already planning our return late summer to spend time as a family to celebrate birthdays and graduation.

Great Spot in Lititz

2nd stay just as sweet

This was our second time staying at Bob and Terriā€™s cozy home atop the hill and it was just as amazing as the first stay. It was a quick trip for us but was comforting knowing exactly what our stay would be like and that everything we could need to have a comfortable stay was already in place. The hosts even treated us to Lancaster made whoopie pies, special homemade breads and granola bars. It even smelled so clean and welcoming when we walked in and there were vacuuming lines on the carpets proving the cleanliness of the home between guests. This is by far our most favorite place to relax in Amish country and hope to visit again! Thanks Bob and Terri!

Weekend stay

The house was as advertised. It was spacious and homey, really nice for a family and a dog. The house is pretty open, easy to spread out or all get together to watch a show or a movie. The backyard is great if youā€™re bringing a dog. The only slight issue is that the rental house is connected to another house where the owners live, so if youā€™re looking for more privacy, you may want to take this fact into consideration. However, this wasnā€™t an issue for us.

Treated Like Family!!!

What a surprise to pull up to this beauty of a property on the top of the hill! This house reminded me of my grandmotherā€™s house, but not in an old fashioned, outdated way. Instead, it was so cozy and well prepared for guests and every detail, including the dishes and glasses in the cabinets are unique to the home, making guests feel like they are visiting family of their own. The beds were comfortable, ceiling fans or stand up oscillating fans provided for each bedroom and electric candles and curtains in all of the windows. Many of the rooms had book cases filled with classics for kids and adults, but also had tvs in each bedroom and each of the living rooms. As for the bathrooms and laundry rooms, we were pleasantly surprised to find an overabundance of towels, hand towels, and wash cloths available for our use and plenty of laundry detergent and dryer sheets in the laundry room. Although we did not make use of many of them, the kitchen was well stocked with appliances for different modes of cooking/food prep.Few things to note: laundry room is only accessible through the master bedroom and the master bathroom is located just outside the master bedroom door. Also, the property listing does not show window treatments on the bathroom windows, but upon arrival, there were curtains in one bathroom and privacy film on the other. Owners PLOWED the driveway after the snowstorm on our schedule!!DONā€™t HESITATE to book this property; you will feel like family your whole stay!!

Wedding week base house

This house was the perfect spot for the family to gather from various parts of the country for a wedding celebration. The house was clean and the kitchen was fully stocked so we could even pull off a Thanksgiving meal. It was comfortable and spacious for the 9 of us.

We rented this house for 4 nights while visiting family and exploring Lancaster County. The house was very clean and well stocked, and the beds were very comfortable. The kids enjoyed watching the owner feed his chickens in the morning and playing on the tire swing. We would rent this place again in a heartbeat.

Girls trip

This was our annual girls trip. This house was perfect! Great location, private, plenty of room, and immaculate! Added bonus was the sunroom where we enjoyed watching the birds and squirrels while we drank our coffee in the morning. And if you are a cat lover ( like me ) Peep the orange tabby made my day. Highly recommend this home to anyone coming to this area- you wont be disapointed!

A great place to stay with a beautiful view

The house was the perfect size for me and my sisters. Very neat and clean. It has every amenity you need. The treats left for us were yummy! As a fellow animal lover I was so excited to meet the orange tabby. Every morning watching the chickens made me smile. I highly recommend staying here!

Wonderful Stay to See Family

Overall, this was a great experience at this home. The location was great and close to extended family to visit them. We were able to accommodate a range of family ages including two young children and two elderly people all in the same place, which worked out well. The owners were very helpful and responsive to our questions and requests. We thank them for the chance to stay in their rental!

Beautiful, quiet, clean house and helpful hosts

We were very happy with our stay, the house was clean, there were toys and games for kids to play with, had all the necessities that were needed, and they had a plate of delicious treats sitting in the kitchen when we arrived. The hosts went above and beyond when our groceries were delivered a lot earlier than scheduled and they stuck them in the fridge for us. Highly recommend this property, and we would definitely stay again!
