Good location.

An excellent location for Albert Dock and the City Centre. Good parking right outside the building. Bed was comfortable and a good size. Room was on the smaller size and felt a bit confined. It would have been tight for space with two people - I was on my own. The bathroom pod was a bit odd and was also tight for space. The shower was good but was leaking in two places. The temperature controls of the room were difficult to get right. The breakfast buffet was ok - we had the continental but there should have some more healthier options for some items such as low fat margarine as well as butter etc. Staff members were polite and helpful. Overall a good stay but I was expecting a bigger room and slightly better facilities for the price.

Staff ruined the rating

Location is great, and it’s a no nonsense place to say. Definitely worth it for the money. Just a warning though the staff are a bit unfriendly. We spoke with multiple different staff during our stay and were surprised at how rude they were to us. We wondered if we had offended them asking them basic questions i.e. what times breakfast on.

Prime location. Like the other Ibis hotel in Birmingham the electronic door card was terrible and gave a lot of guests headache.

Well positioned and pleasant

The staff were friendly and helpful. We received a good welcome. The property is well positioned and has a good car park with EV charging bays. The breakfast is very basic and the menu does not change, which is a shame. Saying that, we would stay again
