City Break

As fairly experienced travellers in our Eighties, we were surprised to find no concierge to help people carry luggage up and down the stairs from street level to hotel lobby. And those steps have no rail either . There is , we eventually noticed, a lift contraption at another entrance but it is unclear how to operate it. Speaking of ease , the layout of a ‘standard’ room is such that space between the desk chair ( almost unmoveable ) and the end of the bed is very constricted. The hotel in general, however, is very clean.

Nice hotel but the reception experience is a bit bizarre. The woman wasn't super welcoming or talkative and I wasn't sure if I needed to type everything in myself or if she would do it. Ended up a kind of half and half. Room was decent but expected the Expedia VIP upgrade for such a big hotel.

The lamp in the room and hairdryer did not work. Cleaning service was poor as they did not change towels when procedure followed. Location of the hotel and reception was excellent.

I stayed at Radisson Red in Liverpool as it was next to train station and close to Empire Theatre ,where I went to see Blood Brothers.The hotel was immaculate.The rooms were clean and had everything you needed.The staff were so friendly and helpful.They couldn't do enough for me when I became ill.Best hotel I have stayed in

Pretty average stay at this hotel. It was clean, quirky and in a great location but the room way noisy and the pillows were very soft with no choice to change to a harder one. The staff we great but a slight annoyance when I asked not the indoctrinated into the Radison club then found emails in my inbox this morning with my new membership number. I doubt we would return.
