Nice place close to the Station

The Liner Hotel is super close to the Llme Street Station, up a little hill. It’s great to drop your bags and go. Being next to the station brings some noise - mostly the announcements for the trains not the trains themselves. If you’re sound sensitive, a set of foam earplugs helps. I didn’t hear trains late at night. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms and bathrooms are nice. Breakfast is fab. There is a bar with specials but I figured I was so close to Mathew St. I just went there.

Great location, rooms traditional but nice and very clean. Had everything we wanted for an overnight stay in the city. Food excellent in restaurant. My only criticism is we went fir breakfast at 9.40 and lots of choices had gone and werent refilled. No chopped fruit, no pastries, no yoghurt. I know breakfast ends at 10.30 but we paid £14 each and didnt feel it was good value. Apart from that, everything else was excellent.

Another great stay. Stay here regularly. Wouldn’t come back if I didn’t like it. Staff are lovely and helpful. Breakfast is really good.

No air conditioning. Really hot room. Doors slam. Came back one day at 3pm and our room had not been cleaned. Only one lift working. Mirror too far from powerpoints to dry hair.

Excellent overall

It was excellent only things i notice were i saw a fly buzzing around the cereal bar in the morning and you can here some noise in room due to the bar/ functions so may be a little issue for a light sleeper the noise does stop though and isn't ongoing but not really a problem for me. Staff very friendly and will definitely stay here again. Thanks for the wonderful stay

A Nice Hotel in Liverpool

The Liner is a nice hotel close to central Liverpool. It’s a little dated, but still very good. The restaurant is very good with a diverse menu. The staff are friendly, efficient, and welcoming.

Always a good experience. 4th or 5th time we've stayed here. Always clean, Always friendly staff, central to everything, right next to Lime St Station, Car park next to it (first come first served), but we've never missed out. Food great and great choice in the restaurant. On site bar, good choice, good prices. 5*.
