The apartment was in very good condition. It was clean and extremely comfortable for our family group. It was in a convenient location, close to pubs and restaurants. The furniture, fixtures and fittings were of very good quality indeed. Although all bathroom towels were provided, it would have been helpful to have a tea towel in the kitchen. We would certainly recommend to family and friends.

Great stay in central Liverpool

Overall a great stay, the apartment is lovely in a great location and ideal for a weekend away with the girls. Beds were really comfy. Main issue we had was the apartment was absolutely boiling, we couldn’t open any of the windows and this made it incredibly hard to sleep. I emailed and phoned 3 times but could not get through to anyone, I didn’t even get a reply to say sorry that they’d missed the email. Just something to bear in mind if you struggle to sleep in heat and the weather forecast is hot.

The apartment was nice and we liked the view from the 9th floor windows. There were a few things needing repair or maintenance but overall it was a good place. One negative is finding the place was somewhat difficult, it was not well marked.

Great location. Lots of space and well set out so great for large groups. Considering the apartment was supposed to sleep 11, it was disappointing that there were only 7 forks...Kitchen equipment was limited so if you're planning to cook for the group, think about what you might need and can easily bring. Consumables were also limited.

Disappointing stay

A very disappointing experience. We arrived at the apartment at 3pm, and still hadn’t been sent the key code because Epic were having an issue with their system taking guests hold deposits. We got into the apartment and the smell of egg (gas we believe) hit us straight away. Not only that, but the apartment had not been cleaned - mouldy cups, unmade beds, wet dirty towels on the floor and no electricity. I contacted Epic and the lady said she would try to find us another apartment. We physically couldn’t stand in the apartment due to the smell, so stood outside in the rain for 15 minutes until Epic called us back. We were moved to another penthouse, which granted was bigger, but was a total different layout and no speaker or TV in the main kitchen/sitting area. The apartment was absolutely freezing and due to the size of the apartments, failed to warm up - we sat in coats until we went out. I requested a partial refund via hotels.com and EPIC refused it - instead offered us a 1 hour extra checkout which isn’t really sufficient. Although the new apartment was lovely, the experience was very disappointing, and dampened our birthday night out.

We enjoyed the apartment, it was sacious and comfy. We did have a few kitchen niggles. The equipment/utensils glassware need updating/adding to or renewing. The wine flutes were all different sizes and there were only 3 same with the mugs. Salt & pepper would be a welcome addition as would a measuring jug. There was a coffee machine but, no pods were supplied. Only 4 tea bags too... However, the location was great, gaining the access code was troublesome. Despite the little issues, we would stay again

The hot was was simply warm - not hot at all. Every day we were there, from 5am there was a constant stream of bin lorries collecting glass ehich made it impossible to sleep from that time. There are also industrial.aircon or kitchen extractor units outide some.of the windows making it really noisy

Two Luxury Liverpool City Break

Loved out two night break in the Epic Apartment. It was absolutely immaculate and had everything you could want. Only minor downside was that the WiFi wasn't strong near the TV which meant Netflix etc wasn't possible. Everything elsewhere was superb.
