This quaint little 18th century, stone built cottage awaits you in a quiet environment , with amazing views of the delightful Breton countryside and enclosed garden suitable for dogs. Perfect for a romantic break or just a peaceful and tranquil holiday.
Tremaillet is a small hamlet delightful countryside near to the village of Lizio , Roc St Andre and Josselin. Also Near to the the small towns of Malestroit, Serent, Rochefort en terre, Josselin, 25 minutes from Vannes with the Gulf of Morbihan and its beaches, the forest of Brocéliande, and next to the canal from Nantes to Brest, Two fold up bikes to use which are perfect to put in your car to cycle along the canal.
Enclosed Garden has garden furniture and charcoal BBQ and suitable for dogs.
Front and back door with Two Stable doors leads to a comfortable open plan living area with additional 2 Sofa beds . .Functional kitchen- 2 ring ceramic hob, small oven/grill, fridge with small freezer compartment .wood burner with complimentary wood.
Upstairs has a large double bedroom with double bed ,exposed beams .shower and toilet
WiFi 5G
We welcome up to 2 dogs to stay for a small fee but sorry no cats.

The perfect getaway!
A small, but well equipped little cottage, ideal for a weeks holiday. The hamlet is picturesque, set in a great location with great views of the surrounding countryside. We enjoyed watching the horses that were in the field backing onto the property. The cottage itself was clean and well equipped, and had everything that we needed. I would certainly recommend this property to anyone vising the Brittany region.

Unpleasant . Beware.
Having spent the day exploring St Malo we arrived, tired, at 6pm to find many many ants crawling across the tiles, a tick and dirt, cobwebs and spiders. Photos taken. The visitors books had the last entries dated 2019. The Wifi instructions in the introduction booklet clearly stated a password, identical to the bottom of the router which repeatedly did NOT work. My companion is allergic to spider bites. After vacuuming, cleaning and trying to get rid of cobwebs and spiders we notified the host and VRBO and left. Owner offered a full refund. Owner arrived at cottage 3 days later-offered a minimal refund and stated that everything was fine. VRBO policy stated that refund entirely at Hosts discretion-they could do nothing. Dealing with the Host and losing our money - accommodation standard being unacceptable and costing more than the best Hotel in the area.. Don’t even think of this cottage as good value.

Perfect for two adults and two dogs
This was our third holiday in Brittany and probably the best. The weather was superb, the property a very good standard with everything you required for inside and outside living. The owners couldn’t do enough to make our stay perfect, even offering to contact the vets. The Nante Brest Canal became the focal point of our travels, being perfect for dog walking and accessing little villages. We would definitely return!

Great little cottage with a very limited kitchen
A delightful little cottage in a very quiet little hamlet; the only downside we found, since we like to take advantage of the great local produce, was that the kitchen facilities, as well as being limited to two hobs and a small oven, were extremely difficult to use - the kitchen is inside a cupboard, very difficult to access and almost impossible to see what you're doing (there was a battery powered light unit in the cupboard, but it didn't work).

Ideal for Relaxing Holiday for Two
Pretty cottage very thoughtfully and carefully converted. Well maintained and comfortable with plenty of essential items, including large CD collection. Quirky kitchen is in a cupboard, although designed for minimal cooking. Small garden ideal for eating and relaxing. Folding bikes were perfect for cycling along the canal - a real bonus. Lots of villages in the area to visit and explore.

Well equipped cosy cottage in beautiful area, folding bikes provided.
The cottage is really well equipped, everything is clean the bed is comfy with lovely linen. The folding bikes are easy to use and put in the car. The area has great cycling routes along the canal or voie verte for ease or small roads and little villages more challenging. The owner provided lots of information about he area which we found really useful, good places to walk, cycle, eat and visit. Coast less than an hour away

What a little gem!
This gite is extremely homely and well equipped, complete with folding bikes (I was tempted but the weather was rather variable). It is a perfect base for touring the area. We visited Lorient, Quiberon, Vannes and La Roche Bernard, as well as lots of the villages in between, and our two dogs enjoyed many walks along the Nantes-Brest canal. I would certainly recommend it to all who want a quiet country retreat.
