A NICE CLEAN TERRACED HOUSE IN A RESIDENTIAL AREA
Our host was very nice but made no effort to send someone to check the property was safe after water leaks onto electrical appliances.
Listed as a town house it boasts that it’s for up to 6 persons. It’s a terraced house, modernised to a good standard in a residential road. It has an astro turf backyard lighting/seating. It’s warm/cosy, two good sized super king bedrooms but the third was small, a double bed against a wall. It definitely would not suit two more adults. The dining room (not suitable tbh) had a large table in a small space and a BBQ parked in there. Fortunately, the kitchen had space for 4 persons, was nicely presented with everything we needed. The host had kindly left some biscuits, crisps, chocolate, and milk, a nice touch.
If six persons were to be in this property I felt the need for a second loo/shower.
The property has no instruction manuals for appliances/equipment. (Oven thermostat broken)
Sadly we had two separate leaks from bathroom shower into dining room that dripped onto the wifi box and hive. We immediately contacted the host who called back later and told us to unplug the appliances and keep using the shower so as not to spoil our holiday. No regard for health and safety. We also had no wife for the rest of our stay.
Shame, lots to sort & description needs amending.
Inspite of incidents, property was ok, we had fab weather, great walks and nice meals out.
NB Building works at adjoining house so noisy from 8am weekdays atm.
