A bit of a hem

A beautiful building, large comfortable room, well located, all much more than you’d expect for the price. Good food and friendly staff too.

Long awaited family catch up

Lovely hotel and grounds in a very peaceful location situated on the outskirts of the town, its only a 10min walk to the centre of Lockerbie itself and a 2min drive from the motorway Room was very spacious and clean, we had a really nice breakfast which was plentiful and kept you going for most of the day Staff were very warm and friendly with nothing ever a problem. We would definitely stay here again as had such a relaxing pleasant stay and would highly recommend to others Should also state that due to Covid this was the Hotels first weekend after being allowed to re-open and think the staff coped with it admirably

Key worker travel.

Under current Covid-19 restrictions and applying all possible safety measures for key workers. The stay at Somerton House Hotel was made as welcoming, comfortable and most importantly safe as possible. Thank you for making the stay enjoyable.

Highly recommended

Myself and work colleague stayed here for two nights and committed into Glasgow to work because of Covid-19 restrictions. Highly recommended Hotel I can see why it has such a superb reputation staff are so helpful and friendly hotel is kept in pristine condition. We had dinner both nights in the the restaurant the roast pork dinner was one of the best I've had. We had breakfast every morning which was also a delight with nice fresh coffee and a good cooked breakfast. Just like to say thank you to the friendly staff. Clark and Ralph.

We were very impressed with the hotel. Handy for the town of Lockerbie, we were made most welcome on our arrival. The staff were all very pleasant and extremely helpful. Over the years we have stayed i. Several of the hotels in Lockerbie, but Somerton House was by far the best. Without doubt we shall stay there agan. Joyce & David Marshall
