Beautiful log and slab furniture, throughout, with exposed-beam walls and ceiling; hardwood floors; stone hearth. Two queen beds with ensuite baths, plus washer and dryer, upstairs – in rooms with charming dormer windows and cheery skylights. SITE Alpine – Hocking Hills is tucked into the woods near three other Chalets, on Blosser Road, convenient to Route 33 and the city of Logan. The closest state park is Lake Logan, 1.5 miles, a 5-minute drive. Old Man’s Cave is, 10 miles, a 15-minute drive. The Chalets front desk is 7 miles, away. For your convenience, online check-in is available, so you can go directly to the Alpine – Hocking Hills, without stopping at the Chalets’ front desk, first. House and kitchen were clean. Aged but comfortable. We really enjoyed it. The hot tub was dirty so we missed one night but the staff clean jt right away. The bedroom upstairs was slanted downhill by about an inch or a bit more from the one side to another which was a bit surprising. .

Cabin was very relaxing, comfortable and was a great stay for our weekend! Bedrooms were good size and kitchen was supplied adequately. There is washer/dryer if needed. Would definitely stay here again!

Anniversary trip. Place was clean but few small things would have made it perfect. Few dead bugs found in kitchen and would have been nice to look out clean and clear skylights.

Quiet forest getaway

Nice quiet location, very clean, full kitchen. Trees all around, I enjoyed birdwatching from the porch. Didn’t make a fire but really enjoyed the hot tub. Would return here!

Alpine cabin

We really enjoyed the cabin. The layout is more like a home than the open floor cabins we usually stay in. The wood burning fireplace was a plus and we had a fire every night. They could use some hooks near the doors for things like hats, and jackets. While it’s not as secluded as we’d like, it was close to Logan which was nice for grabbing things at Kroger. We would definitely stay here again.

The garbage can stunk hard to sit outside because the garbage can was bad underneath the beds were really dirty took forever to come fix the dryer the cabin was nice
