Cozy cottage with fjord view in Hjarbæk

You’ll find this little oasis at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, just 150 meters from the harbor. The panoramic windows offer a stunning view of the fjord. The house has been intentionally designed without internet, so you can enjoy your vacation and nature together, undisturbed.



The traditional cottage has been continuously modernized and is suitable for year-round use. There’s plenty of space to spread out, and the modern kitchen with a view of the fjord invites you to cook and spend time together. Even on rainy days, there’s plenty of room for cozy indoor time with a good book.



The house is completely secluded, being the last of three houses on the road. The quiet location offers you privacy and peace, while the harbor and the fjord are within walking distance.



Hjarbæk is a lovely little harbor village at the head of Hjarbæk Fjord. The harbor buzzes with life, filled with dinghies and sailboats. Enjoy an ice cream from Hjarbæk Kro while taking in some of Denmark’s most beautiful sunsets. The Hærvejen trail runs through the town, and from Bavnehøj there are fantastic views of the fjord. Viborg is 10 km away.

This is a beautiful place, very clean even has a w...

This is a beautiful place, very clean even has a washer which is nice when on an extended holiday, there isn’t a dryer but there’s a drying rack outside and in late Aug it’s everything dried in one day no problems. The host was lovely and the first night we got there we couldn’t find linens and he came up in 30 mins with a pile of linens and a towel as we were short by one. He was very pleasant and helpful when we needed help. There is no WiFi, which is nice I had cell reception so I could get information when I needed but if you want strong service you may be disappointed not a place to go and be on a laptop. But definitely a beautiful space to go and chill.
