Great location for the Royal Albert Hall and museums. Modern decor throughout and the room was generally well maintained, if a little cramped (was a small double, cannot comment on the size of the other rooms). Breakfast was ok, a reasonable selection, and enough to keep us going for the rest of the morning. we did notice the floor in both the bedroom and bathroom needed a better vacuum, and we mentioned this on checkout, so hopefully they can improve on this small matter, but overall a good stay.

I stayed twice at 54 Queens Gate. A stately small hotel just blocks from Kensington Palace and Gardens. Lots of restaurants nearby and close to buses and subways. The hotel is quiet and cozy. I loved my stays.
I loved the view mostly of trees out my window. A cozy cheerful room.

Nice Hotel, Nice Location

This hotel is nice and quaint with modern amenities, but a throwback to traditional hotels. Each room is named and themed after a famous British states person or artist. The location across the road from the Natural History Museum is brilliant! You also have the charm of Kensington and Knightsbridge within easy walking distance.

Hotel is a lovely building. The location is excellent. We were going to a show at the Royal Albert Hall and jt was just a 10 minute walk away. If you want to visit many of the museums, they are in your doorstep too. The area was really quiet. I would have given it 5 stars but i felt that streaky bacon as part of your breakfast, wasnt really acceptable. Also, we had to wait outside to gain access on arrival. In fact, a fellow guest had to ri g them to get them to open the door. That said, it was also good for security, knowing that people coujust walk in. We would absolutely stay here again. It would be like a 'home from home'. Thank you.

I did not like the fact that there were 2 elevators. I stayed in 2 different rooms and had to go up and down stairs regardless of the elevators. For that reason, i would probably not stay at this hotel again.

History of notable figures that have stayed in each room was a wonderful touch, so neat! Quiet area right across from the museum and a small walk to the Tube. Felt safe walking around. Large bathroom was splendid.

This is the third time I have stayed at this hotel. I have left positive reviews in the past but this time I can't do so. I was so disappointed by the upkeep of the hotel. They are letting it get run down. The walls had marks on them, the furniture was chipped and damaged, the lights had pieces missing from them and there was a light hanging out of it's socket. The drain in the shower was blocked and the water overflowed. The answer was to have us bathe in a different room. What? The blanket on the bed was dirty... I have photos. It was freezing cold and the heating didn't work. They gave us a space heater that didn't work, so they gave use an industrial style heater that was loud and smelly. I have a photo of this too. Also... they still don't have an ice machine after all these years.

Great location.

Great one night stay due to work. Easy to find. Clean from the very start. Room was spacious for a single. Comfy bed. Night separate shower room downstairs as part of room. Very clean.

Rooms were small but well equipped, clean, quiet and comfortable. Great location to walk to a variety of amenities. Staff were non-intrusive but very helpful any time something was needed or requested. We had a very nice stay and do recommend 54 Queens Gate to anyone seeking a quiet,comfortable respite from the hustle and bustle of London!
