Very lovely place, however the elevator is very old, slow and small. I am from the US and never experienced elevators like this. You have to open the gate and keep pushing it to get into the elevator. My mom who 93 had big problems using it as you have to be super strong to push the gate

Booked months in advance so really disappointed to be put in a basement room, no external light, no view except a wall and some dumped matresses. Breakfast at £35 that included some old, anaemic toast and nothing cooked was really poor.

Quiet room, friendly helpful staff, nice room. Shower is goofy. Had to take a TINY elevator up to 4th floor, walk up another flight of stairs, go through a door, down a few more stairs, through another door to finally get to our room.
