This small hotel in a quiet part of Kensington was perfect for our needs. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and had a modern, spacious private washroom and shower, a modern HVAC system and a window that opened to let in fresh air. The buffet breakfast was served in a bright, sunny room on the ground floor with no waiting or crowding. The West Kensington tube station on the District line was a six minute walk, with connections to the Picadilly and Circle lines at nearby stations. There were a variety of shops and a pub conveniently located between the hotel and the tube. In all, a very satisfactory hotel. We would certainly stay there again.

I like the hotel, but I didn't quite like some of the staff. Some of them, I feel didn't have an idea on things I ask about like if we can leave our luggage behind while we're traveling elsewhere in the UK, it was weird that the first person I asked didn't know and we were told that she needed to ask the manager. There were also issues about me transferring to another room after my first night, which was alright, but again the staff in the morning seemed not to know about it the following day, so it took a while and many conversations. I just feel that the staff can practice better handing off information to one another so they can address customer concerns more efficiently. Also didn't like much of the choices of breakfast.
