The staff were so kind and helpful when I needed to extend my stay to visit my husband in hospital Great hotel in an excellent location, super-clean room and so comfortable and quiet overnight.

Found the Brompton Hotel ideal for a one night stay while visiting the Royal Albert Hall (RAH). The hotel is good value and in a very convenient location near South Kensington underground station, local amenities the museums and the RAH. Although the public interior areas of the hotel are in need of some TLC, my room was comfortable, very clean with everything needed for a base during a short stay. Check in was good and staff were friendly. I would definitely book again and I recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a reasonable quality, good value hotel in the South Kensington area.

Staff were nice and room was clean. Location was very handy and only steps from South Kensington Station and walking distance to museums and all sorts of restaurants. It's a great place to stay when you want to visit the area but just want a basic room for a reasonable price.

Staff were friendly and helpful. I was only staying a night to visit a relative at the royal marsden hospital but staff were helpful and accommodating and said i could extend my stay if needed. They were caring and compassionate. The room was clean and quiet with a comfy bed. I could leave my luggage when i arrived early and go straight to the hospital. Hotel had a great location and friendly staff. The location near museums and transit made up for some of its shortcoming. The hotel looked a bit worn and some minor repairs would have helped the appearance. It was noisy at night although that is somewhat expected given its central location.

I stay here regularly. It isn't the Ritz... because they know we don't want to pay for all those frills and fripperies. Brompton delivers lovely staff, a great location, good fixtures and fittings, clean sheets. If you need a lift (elevator), this, alas, is not the one for you. Or grand public rooms. But otherwise... don't hesitate.

The property itself is a little tired, and in need of some tlc. I was upgraded to a double room, which was clean and comfortable. It was very quiet, and had a kettle, tea/coffee and refrigerator. Handy for the RAH, V & A, and Science Museum. Across the road from the South Kensington Tube. Good eating places within 5 mins walking distance.
