I’m writing this review because when I picked this accommodation it was a new listing with no reviews so I want to help out other travelers. Starting with the positives because there is not a lot: The location of this accommodation is very optimal, very close to St James’s Park station and it is easy and fast to get around to everything you want to do. They provided shampoo, body wash, soap, and lotion which I did not expect. However there is a lot that could be improved. I understand it is a very old building but the ventilation was terrible and extremely hot in the room at night even when it was a cool temperature outside. The bathrooms were not very clean and only one roll of toilet paper was provided for three nights among two people. Also, the shower water was either very hot or very cold. The entire place also smelled like slightly moldy food. When I attempted to use the laundry it seemed like they were broken or dirty with murky water inside of the washer. I also suspect bedbugs because I would wake up with bug bites on my body, and even my face which I never get mosquito bites on my face. The listing for this place also mentions free wifi but I had to ask and wait for the host to give me the wifi password and the wifi was honestly terrible, it was very inconsistent. Lastly, when I checked into this place I followed the instructions I was given but the door was still locked. The host was responsive, but not helpful at all, just repeating their instructions.
