Clean, comfortable, friendly staff and nicely designed. Great stay! Only negative comment is the smell of burning old oil from the steak restaurant as you enter reception and fills up to the 1st floor bar….which was a little off putting.

3 rooms booked FROM AUGUST! On arrival one room not ready same floor. Offered room elsewhere told them how long before room ready told to come back in half an hour. 11/2 hours later room still not ready....total mayhem re why? For a 4 star unacceptable...Travelled from Yorkshire customer service defo not a priority. Could have stopped at Premier Inn.

The hotel ambience and style is amazing. Rooms and beds are clean and comfortable. Love the design and look. The parking offered at the nearby Westfield isn't the easiest to access with all of the ongoing roadworks. Securing onsite or nearby parking would be preferable. The reception staff who served me wasn't very welcoming, didn't offer enough info on where things were.

To begin, I would like to start with the fact that I came here with my lady to celebrate her birthday and also Christmas and because of this , I had contacted the hotel in advance to make them aware of the occasion and request an early check in so I can come in and decorate which was denied even though in two emails I received ,1 prior to the stay and one and also on the day of, stated that early check in was available on the check in date upon request. This severely delayed my travel arrangements not only leading me to arrive about 2hrs after the check in time but also me going over board on my schedule to decorate the room in time or to the standard I would of done before dinner and I had to have her waiting outside before and after dinner to finish which was disappointing for both me and her who had to wait , although she was very pleased by it in the end.However I would like to thank the lovely young black lady who made my check in smooth and was very warm and informative, unfortunately I forgot her name. Now Speaking of the dinner at the STKrooftop which I also had booked in advance and notified of the occasions and celebrations, I would like to say that the customer service during that dinner experience from beginning to end was sub par. Starting from the gentleman hosting who met us at the desk who was not that as welcoming as he could of been, despite how smiley towards him and happy we looked considering the occasion, he also took a bit long at the desk after takin

Clean room, comfortable bed. Nice clean and spacious bathroom. Room had a mini fridge, but was very disappointed that they didn’t even had a bottle of water in the fridge. For the price for a 1 night stay it would’ve made a difference with even a few drinks in the mini bar.

The staff were so lovely and reception especially helpful and accommodating. We mentioned we were returning after an amazing birthday celebration last year with them . We were upgraded to a deluxe room which was great . Couldn’t fault anything and will be back for more birthday celebrations next year
