Not my first time staying here. Sad to say wasn't as pleasant as my other stays. The room was clean. The bathroom had another section for bath and shower, but when you opened the shower door to that part, the smell was awful. One of the shower heads didn't work and there was no hot water to the shower. There was to the sink. TV must channels weren't working. Informed reception they had the cheek to ask if I wanted to pay an additional service charge and ignored the issues rose. Not like my previous stays at all.

Mid at best.

Rooms were adequate but the lack of air conditioning made it very uncomfortable to sleep. They did bring a portable a/c unit which did very little to cool the room off. Hallways leading to the room weren’t vacuumed and quite dirty. Location was convenient to the tube. Check in and out was easy but for the price I think we will look elsewhere for our next trip to the UK.

Very poor service during check in. No vip service for Expedia gold member. They even dispise gold membership. We ask for high floor rooms on booking but was given the worse rooms during checkin, on the first floor. They were reluctant to offer late check out out found out I have stayed here five times already they finally agreed a late check out. The guy at the check in keeps on saying you have to book thru the hotel directly in order to get better rooms and late check out perks. It doesn't matter what kind of gold memberships you have. The breakfast used to be good for my past stays but this time it is terrible for the price. Better go outside and eat which is much cheaper and better. Definitely I will not stay again, one recommendation is residence inn which is more friendly with better breakfast and compatible price

Hotel looks nice from the outside and reception is lovely but beyond that its very dark. Our room was internal with a small window so no natural light. This is the complete opposite of the photo which shows a bright airy room. The room also felt small with an unecessary desk and large chair occupying valuable space. Room was also very hot and hard to cool down, the air con makes little difference and needs to be on all night to keep the temperature bearable. Resonable value but expected a lot more and will not be staying here again.

Enjoyed our stay here

We stayed for 1 night and would definitely stay here again. The room was spotless, the staff were lovely - very friendly and helpful. The bar served good value drinks considering this is London. We did not have breakfast as we were meeting family for brunch so cannot comment on the food. My only criticism is that the standard room with twin beds was small and next time we will book a bigger room!

It was okay

The hotel staff were friendly and welcoming. We stayed in room 142 and we think there was a problem with the air conditioning, as it was not as cool as it showed. However, as we were only staying one night, we didn’t ask for an alternative room. We had a room on the first floor, but it overlooked the bar and so we could feel the vibrations and music from the lobby area. The shower drainage smelled, shower head kept tilting down. The shower door hinges were worn and needs replacing. The carpet gripper was poking out of the carpet as you enter the bathroom. Curtains and carpet had stains.

No coffee pods No Papaya

Expensive coffee machine but no pods for it in the room. Filled the thing with water and looked for the pods but there were none. The restaurant served what they said was a Papaya salad, made of only bean sprouts and fresh chilli. They did not charge for it but left disappointed and hungry.

Hotel lobby looks amazing. However the room was like a sauna. I was given one of the inside rooms so I didn't have a proper window. The air con did not work and it was the hottest week of the year so far. Maintenance was sent, they had a look but nothing changed. I was given a fan which helped , it was one of the water coolng ones. When I came back to my room it made it smell like a swimming baths. On an evening i had to keep my door open until it was time to sleep, just to keep the room cool. Everyone at breakfast was complaining

Service of the front desk, esp Ms Tamara. Friendly & helpful. Attended to my enquiries promptly. The Concierge, Mr Daniel was extremely helpful & attentive to my request. The room i gotten was bad, Room number 140 (accessible), lamp was faulty, no one came to repair although i called several times since my 1st day. Toilet sink leaked, toilet flooded with the no curtain bath tub. & Room 142 toilet light was flickering too. Overall although we gotten a connecting rooms as requested, but were upset that many hiccups happened. We will be check-in again on the 1st May for 6 nights. Hoping that this time will be a better experience.
