The front desk staff were bewildered and uncertain most of the time. The hallways were very hot and made the room temperature uncomfortable. The bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable. Worst hotel toiletries I've encountered. Reserved cream tea offered 24 hours in advance and staff unprepared. Waited 25 minutes with no staff attending. Manager seemed confused and defensive when experiences relayed upon checkout. Cannot recommend this hotel.

Fantastic, helpful staff. Room was large, however not 100% clean. Found sticky stuff on the hairdryer and sofa smelt bad. Overall a nice hotel.

This was my best stay in a hotel in recent years, and I've been in a lot of hotels in a lot of countries. The reception looked warm and welcoming, and the staff on reception were smiling and cheerful and welcoming. The bedroom was great in all aspects - large and with a superb modern bathroom. Breakfast was great. The location is ideal for sightseeing in London, not far from Oxford Circus and near Underground stations but quiet at night. I very much recommend this hotel to anyone who can afford to stay here. We had a great time!

Beautiful hotel, lots of lovely wooden panelling and chesterfields sofas throughout reception. Pretty twinkly Christmas lights that greet you outside the hotel. The staff were friendly. Room spotless, just right temp not too hot/cold. Waterfall shower lovely and powerful
