Conveniently located close to London Paddington station. Rooms are clean but despite that, the property conditions seem to be going downhill. Most notable is the air conditioning seems to be hit and miss as the non-park facing rooms heat up like an oven during summer

I was affected by Heathrow Airport closure due to fire . They don’t want to refund my first 3 nights booking while we’re delayed from the original date. instead they asked for more payment. Very convenient, 2 minutes from Paddington Station. Staff were lovely, very accommodating. Room was fine, only complaint would be that my bed (a single in a twin room) wasn’t very comfortable.

Staff was very pleasant and welcoming. Breakfast was well sorted and plenty. Rooms are small but well appointed and clean. Within walking distance to paddington station and tube with plenty of food options and shops in the immediate area. We dinned at hotel restaurant one evening and all parties were pleased with pasta options ordered and service.

We arrived and were given a room in the basement. It definitely felt like a basement too. It was dark. The bed was hard as a rock. The floor was uneven in spots, esp by the bathroom. We stubbed our toes several times on that. There was also a nail sticking up from the floor in the bathroom that we stepped on. We coveredd it with a towel for the remainer of the trip. We asked about getting a different room but there were none. They did give us a free breakfast. Would not stay here again.

Lovely hotel, lovely staff, but menu could have a wider range, too much pizza and pasta, very little choice otherwise, even so the beef burger was good. Will definitely choose this hotel again. Thank you
