A night in Finsbury…

Great location. Lovely staff. Great breakfast. Shared bathrooms fine (tho one shower out of order). A bit noisy inside at night - because the walls are v thin, and the doors bang quite loudly (weighted for fire safety) - the bed was fine tho, so maybe just take some ear plugs if you are a light sleeper.

Quick and simple to check in. Good value for money and convenient location. Breakfast was good (similar in style, albeit with a little less choice, too a premier inn). Areas for improvement - water availability is ok, but it's on the warm side.

Bed bugs. Should be the only thing I need to say. Overall very disappointed because this was such a nice experience over all and then on the last day I woke up absolutely covered in bites. I’ve tried to get in contact with the hotel several times as well as Expedia trying to get in contact with them and was unsuccessful.

Don’t tell everyone

I almost don’t want to write this, this is my fourth visit to LSE and it feels like one of the best kept secrets in London. Great value for a comfortable room and breakfast with handy extras like access to a kitchen and common room with free pool table, fusball and table tennis. It’s in a great location you can walk into Leicester Square, Covent Garden theatre land with ease if you don’t fancy the walk the 38 bus stops right outside and come every few minutes.
