Had a medium for a few days, nice clean room. Smaller room would have been a pain for more than 1 night. Really helpful staff. Shared spaces are nicely done. Bar service was a bit slow. Rooms lack sufficient hanging space / hangers. Nice kettle. Fridge is great. AirCon only goes down to 19C and seems to timeout. Great for energy efficiency but not great overnight.

Enjoyed my stay

I was unsure about this hotel before arrival but I really enjoyed my stay. Comfortable room, great breakfasts, large area to relax downstairs. Lots of cafés and restaurants nearby. Good bus services by hotel and underground not far away.

This hotel was in the perfect location of East London. Not touristy, but convenient to get to all the different spots in the city. The room was clean, and the restaurant was so convenient to pop in and out of. Loved all the shops and cafes nearby also!

So it’s what it says on the tin. Quirky and fun. Loved its initial vibe. We checked into a large room, perfect the carpet was wet, and we were staying for 2 nights so we needed a change. Sorted, immediately we moved to a smaller room, no stress, actually preferred it but we should have been refunded the difference. 1st bad mark. It was advertised as a vibrant night with DJ set evening, we arrived on Saturday night at 0030 it was closed and shut up, we ordered some takeaway drinks to the room and wine to bed as the late bar had been private hired. Get that but surely our booking would have given us access or so thing organised. 2nd. Next day we checked the bar closing time, not to fall foul of their closing or private party booking. We entered and enjoyed. Cocktails were made by a very regimented bar team who were not very engaging, cocktails banging 100%. We played table football with total strangers, fabulous until we were told off for being to loud. FFS. Get a grip. There are ways of telling people and 34 years in hospitality that’s not the way. Summary - funky and fun, clean and very accessible. Just needs staff to get off their phones on reception and understand that if the company is paying you, it’s their time not yours. Enjoy Jx
