My wife and I are both in our early sixties and was really looking forward to our stay, especially with the pool facilities. Unfortunately our stay was ruined beyond belief when my wife went swimming as usual around 7.00am in the morning, my wife wears glasses and removed them when doing her regular lengths in the pool, to her horror when she left the pool and replaced them to find that a male was swimming naked in the pool, a pool that was often frequented by children. On reporting this to reception, the receptionist did go down to the pool to action. I sent an email to the management and spoke with the manager that night to raise my concerns, it was taken lightly in my opinion and the manager was very evasive to answering questions about the individual and how he actioned the event, I will not be staying again.

It was to a standard I expect and the staff are always friendly, courteous, and eager to help. Staying with a pet (little dog in our case), however, meant we got assigned rooms designated for visitors with pets and the room we got assigned to initially was horrendous! Very visible dirt from previous pet stays with the room resembling a barn. That part we didn’t like at all. We ask for a room change and that was granted without hesitation. It was an improvement, a major one, but it wasn’t up to scratch. We had to make do. If an established going to be accommodating of guests with pets, please grant people with the same level of service where room cleanliness is concerned. I appreciate that there is shared responsibility here and that there are some pet owners who are not quite on top of things where their pets are concerned, but so are some humans who have no regard for how they leave a room on checking out - but you still get a cleaned room at the end of it as a new guest. Other than that, the stay was otherwise a pleasant one.

We stayed at Novotel London Brentford for a week. The hotel was clean enough and the rooms were reasonably comfortable, but our experience was overshadowed by repeated maintenance failures and poor management follow-up. From the first night, we had no hot water. We reported the issue several times and were assured three times it had been fixed, yet even after 15 minutes the shower still ran cold. To add to the frustration, the television stopped working. To the night staff’s credit, they moved us to another room at about 10 p.m., and thankfully that one had hot water. While we appreciated their help, it was frustrating to have to pack up and move rooms so late in the evening during a week-long stay. We repeatedly asked for the manager to contact us, both to compliment the staff who helped us and to discuss the ongoing hot-water problem. We even suggested the manager could either come and speak with us directly or, alternatively, read a rather snotty review online, which we doubted his superiors would appreciate. Sadly, he chose the latter — no response ever came. The location isn’t ideal either: it’s about a 15-minute walk to Brentford or Kew Bridge station, and you do hear motorway noise at times. Overall, while the hotel is clean and the staff tried their best, the lack of management accountability and the need to move rooms mid-stay make this a disappointing experience. We wouldn’t stay here again

To use a swimming pool after book booked for a swimming pool for 7pm after waiting for two hours to use it it was like hanging out at a leisure Centre. It was a full of kids. The room that we booked it was the room with a bath in the room we got a room with with a shower when I questioned it the reception was a bit rude so I just end up staying in the room with the shower that’s not what I’ve book for I paid for a room with the private bath inside And then this morning from early in the morning the cleaning cupboard was opposite my room so there was a banging noise all morning so I could not sleep. I stayed in room 625 right opposite the cleaning cupboard.
