Although the hotel itself was clean inside and relatively safe, the outside was kind of scary. There was a drug deal going down in front of the doors and a lot of sketchy people hanging around the front of the hotel from next door. The workers were all very nice and helpful and couldn't help the situation going on next door.

When we checked in, neither television worked. I called the front desk to inquire, and there was no answer after 12 rings. When I went to the front desk, both staff members were eating dinner - a point made very clear to me by one of the staff members. When I inquired about the televisions not working, he simply said, "It should be up and running again soon." The full breakfast advertised is your run of the mill cereal and oatmeal with some microwaveable breakfast sandwiches available as well. Upon checking out, the staff member refused to produce any kind of paperwork as I had used Expedia to reserve the room. If I travel to London, ON again, I will likely choose a different hotel.

The hotel needs to add better security to this location so guests feel more comfortable upon arrival. The underground parking lot has a horrible stench of urine. while walking to the room the hallway also has a faint smell too. Guests were also being sent to rooms that had not yet been cleaned by housekeeping. The property needs to deal with several issues to increase customer experience satisfaction.

Booked the room for an overnite stay, but got a call a few days before to let me know that renovations had made me room unavailable & I was offered a complimentary upgrade to a suite at No extra charge. The suite was clean, spacious & comfortable, as well as warm & well heated. Staff were pleasant & wonderful too. Definitely recommend this hotel & I will definitely stay here again!

The room we first had was near elevator (noisy) and the fan was super loud when in the bathroom. The front desk was only helpful to find a different room and because they were booked they updated us without cost, which was very appreciative. The new bathroom was definitely much better. From the front desk, to housekeeping - very helpful & pleasant staff. The bad: parking garage smells like urine and many homeless were hanging out, some doing drugs. Definitely a conversation to be had with he kids around this & not to touch anything. Breakfast was super busy & just very continental.

The parking is over $18 per day including tax. It’s not covered and its not secured. Many homeless in the area. Like 8-10 at all times. The rooms are very dated to around 1980. The breakfast is great, however a lot of disposable plates and utensils which ruins the meal and not environmentally responsible.
