Downtown location and yes, there are homeless folks around but what downtown doesn’t? There’s a great pub across the street (Morrisey) and lots of places within walking distance. But the property itself just seems tired—peeling wallpaper, faded furniture.

Comfortable stay

Travelled to a family reunion. Chose Sandman London as it was central to our activities and we wanted to support a Canadian owned business. Staff were very responsive when we needed to call on them. Fitness room was excellent. There was a street festival nearby. There are many homeless people in the downtown but we were not bothered by anyone.

Homeless people everywhere yelling and screaming outside. Police showed up theough the night. Property is very dirty, outdated. Area is unsafe. Blood on the floor in the hallway. Do not stay here.

The hotel was excellent and was very quiet and clean. The outside was a little dirty bc of the homeless shelter next door. Would definitely recommend the gated underground parking.

Unfortunately, my stay was not as pleasant as expected. The shower experience was quite uncomfortable — the water contained what seemed like sand or dirt, which was concerning. Additionally, the room had a noticeable odor that made the environment feel less clean and welcoming. I hope these issues can be addressed to improve future guest experiences.

There is a homeless encampment in the vacant lot next door. Homeless outside the building. Large continuous police presence outside. The continental breakfast was okay. Except on Sunday, lacking a lot of items. Wi-fi was very spotty
