This room ruined our vacation! The prehistoric building is in deplorable condition. We were given a claustrophobic room in the basement with no A/C (30C average in London a few weeks ago). The 20-year-old mattress destroyed my lower back. The TV was located in a position parallel to the bed, so it was impossible to watch telli from the bed. AND the bathroom deserves a special comment: We are 1.75 cm tall, 75 kgs average, and WE DID NOT FIT IN THE TOILET. Basically, you have to sit at a 45-degree angle; otherwise, your knees will hit the wall. I couldn't wash my face as the bathroom is so narrow that I couldn't bend. We could barely fit in the shower. I am not sure how this building has a permit to operate.....PATHETIC
Took a gamble on this as the price was reasonable even though it doesn’t have air conditioning. Unfortunately the end of June was unseasonably hot in London and therefore so was the room.

Very hot in Summer, no air-con only a fan. Very small rooms. Suitable only for Students
The room was clean and tidy, but very small. There was 2 of us and it was really only suitable for one. Ok for one night tho. The area was quiet and very close to Euston station and short walk to Kings Cross.
Booked a budget studio. Clean on arrival However extremely small. Maybe ok for one but not 2. Bathroom very small too. Hardly space to sit in the loo! No place to open a case except on the bed. Dishes etc provided. Just as well my husband is 6ft as I wouldn’t have been able to reach them! We’re on the ground floor facing a courtyard. Very noisy with people outside till early morning Unfortunately due to the heat had to leave the window open, although there was a fan provided.

Great location, small but nice sitting area out back, laundry on site. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They just have very limited hours and when traveling I find I need hotel services in the morning and evenings. No A/C and I’m pretty sure there was mold under the sink.
Room was ridiculously hot with no fans. Calls to concierge and management were left unanswered. Left the property 45 minutes into the stay and hotel charged entire amount.
Good location when arriving by train at St Pancras, and a good place to explore the city from. Good bus and underground access. However, no AC so very hot in the room and the toilet and shower were extremely tiny. I’m a normal sized human and could barely turn around in the toilet room and shower.

The room was alright, but very disappointed in the shower, the water was way too hot, scalding, there was no way we could cool it down, we had to have a sink wash, which was unsatisfactory especially in this weather, but overall the room and bed was alright and it was safe, clean and quiet and we would stay over again
Received email morning of stay with location of hotel check in details only to get there at 2pm and the hotel was locked
Rang the number and was greeted by another hotel saying the reception in hotel was closed and would have to travel to another hotel to check in either 15 min walk or 5 minute taxi journey.
I have a broken ankle and had to pay for 2 taxis to go and check in at a cost of 25.00 an unexpected expense that should not have had to pay. There was no offer of compensation or discount for the room. When we got into the room was not anything like showed in the picture for a studio and was basically a box room with a double bed
Now I was not expecting the ritz but this was definitely not what we purchased.
I would definitely suggest hotels.com distancing themselves from this hotel. The customer service was shocking

Overall stay was ok. Bathroom smelled slightly moldy. Check in process specifically was terrible. Reception at my location was closed day of my check in. I was not notified. Actually received an email that specifically said reception would be open during the hours i arrived. It was not. It was explained to me by another Tennant that i needed to go to the second location to get my keys. I had just picked up my luggage from a previous hotel. I wasted a couple hours of my last day in london. Backtracking around with my luggage. Addrinally, copying and pasting the adress (for the wrong check in location) from the email into google maps takes you to the wrong location.
Close to the tube station which takes you anywhere across London. Clean rooms with amenities so makes a good base for exploring. We are back in December for a few nights this time

It’s a cheap and cheerful place very close to train and underground in a nice area.
The decor is tired and needs an update and it would be great if the rooms had aircon, but apart from that it’s a great place to stay
Closed the reception on day of arrival and expected us to walk 15/20 mins to an additional hotel to collect keys, emailed 5pm the day before to tell us, when emailed back didn’t receive a reply until I was already checked in telling me ‘If I don’t want to go to the other hotel to cancel my booking.’ Fire exits were blocked with mattresses, stairs uneven, floors in rooms are worn and nails sticking out when stood in certain places between bathroom & room. Rooms are extremely hot with a fan provided. Sockets in the room are either hanging off the walls or don’t work. Only good thing I can say is it was relatively clean & location was good. At the end of the day you get what you pay for.
