I wish i could give a 5-star review, but unfortunately, this is not the case. i do not like to be prejudged on the arrival to the hotel. The welcome was awful and rude which left a bitter taste. I wish we left straight away but it was our wedding day and we had an evening party to attend...not ideal scenario. The following day we had a note posted under the door addressed to my name accusing me of smoking because they smelt smoking in the corridor....even though the lovely chap at the door saw me going out for a smoke number of times .This explains me hearing someone near our door couple of times. The housekeeping was very nosey when we asked for coffee and looked inside the room as trying to catch us out. But instead should have been doing her work as a room was far from clean, just looking at the fire alarm which was covered in a layer of dust was enough. And all of this would have been not important if we had great service and felt welcome. Whilst checking out i saw the service given to other customers arriving by different members of staff was totally different to what we received. When I complained, the house manageress was very apologetic and polite and offered to pay for our taxi ride. Which was very kind. But i would not recommend this hotel because it truly left a bad taste and ruined our special day.
